United Colors of Design (UCoD) is a compassionate, international nonprofit creative studio. We are dedicated to establishing a dynamic, multidisciplinary design ecosystem. Our mission is to enable emerging creatives to acquire knowledge, build networks, receive mentorship, and collaborate with a diverse array of designers, architects, and creatives.

We aim to support and inspire emerging creative professionals to be unapologetically creative through design, aesthetics, and artistic storytelling. Founded in 2023 as a for-profit agency, founder Mustafa Horton converted the studio to a nonprofit in 2024.

UCoD periodically hosts a speaking series titled ‘Leadership in Design’ that invites some of the world’s most talented and influential creatives from different design disciplines. We hope that our event encourages new ways to collaborate and share best practices, inspires creatives and artists to become better design leaders, and brings positive change to society through visual art.

United Colors of Design’s identity was featured in LogoLounge's "Master Library Series, 3000 Shapes & Symbols Logos”, Rockport Publishers, in 2011.
